The Skipton Choir

The Skipton Choir is a friendly mixed adult choir that welcomes anyone with a passion for singing, regardless of previous experience or ability. There are no auditions—just an enthusiastic atmosphere where members can develop their confidence, improve their technique and enjoy making music together.

Rehearsals are energetic, enjoyable and centred around the joy of singing. The choir performs regularly at events in and around Skipton, with a varied repertoire of contemporary music, popular songs, film soundtracks and musical theatre, all performed in four-part harmony. Alongside developing your singing, you’ll also become part of a welcoming and supportive community.

Rehearsals

  • Venue: Skipton Girls’ High School (Judi Dench Suite)
  • Day: Monday (term time)
  • Time: 7:30pm – 9:30pm

Membership

  • Mixed adult choir
  • No auditions required
  • £50 per term
  • New members are welcome to attend a free taster session (music provided)
