Community Brass Band

Skipton Brass is a welcoming community brass band bringing together musicians of all ages and abilities from across Skipton and the surrounding area. Whether you’re an experienced player or looking to return to brass playing after a break, the band offers a friendly and supportive environment with opportunities to perform a varied repertoire.

From traditional brass band marches and concert works to film music, television themes and popular show tunes, Skipton Brass enjoys performing a wide range of music throughout the year.

Who Can Join?

Players of all ages and abilities are welcome. With music available for a range of instruments and skill levels, there’s something for everyone. Instruments can also be loaned to new members.

Membership

The band operates a subscription system, with discounted rates available for families and other groups. If membership fees are a concern, prospective members are encouraged to get in touch, as the band doesn’t want cost to be a barrier to joining.
